Part classic customer service function and part technical support, this role will challenge both your mechanical aptitude (for plumbing/irrigation products) and your communications finesse as you build a rewarding career with a growing industry leader.

As Customer Service Technician, you will fiercely abide by the golden rule: the customer comes first. You will divide your focus 50/50 between routine customer service functions (such as order entry and price look-ups) and remote technical support for our plumbing/irrigation products. With an abundance of organization, poise and professionalism, you will stay on top of all communications, prioritizing and escalating urgent requests, and doing whatever it takes to ensure a top-notch customer service experience.

The new Champion-Arrowhead is the fusion of two well recognized brands -- Champion Irrigation and Arrowhead Brass -- in the irrigation and plumbing industries. Under the new name, we are committed to continue with this legacy and profitably growing the company. In 2007, we received the most innovative product award by the Irrigation Association for our integral vacuum breaker.

More About Your Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will join our Customer Service team of two personnel at our LA office. During the first 90 days, you will receive extensive training on our line of irrigation and plumbing products and gain comprehensive understanding of our installation and application requirements so that you can begin making an impact in our customer service environment.

On any given day, you will handle anywhere from 5-10 inquiries that come in through our website, phone or email as you diligently follow through and resolve customer service issues. You will also manually input orders into our system at the end of the day (up to 60 per day) on a round-robin basis, rotating with the other two customer service technicians.

In addition, you will also support tradeshow activity (including trade show preparation, organizing booth) and inside sales outreach efforts, including mailing out letters, samples etc.
